Google Discussions Highlight Demand for Sustainable Data-Centre Development in Thailand

On 5 November, Google executives met Thailand’s Prime Minister to discuss sustainable data-centre development, with electricity and water availability identified as key investment considerations. Google reaffirmed its commitment to investing in Thailand, but no new site acquisition, land price, construction contract or project valuation was announced. The discussions create opportunities for commercial property developers, data-centre operators and infrastructure contractors.
